Scanner results
This page logs every hit from our own two automated scans of US small caps, newest first, with what the stock did for the rest of that day. It is a record of what a mechanical scan flagged, winners and losers alike. Nobody traded these, and nothing here says what you should do.
- Main scan: the stricter of our two scans of US small caps (under $100M market cap) making a large up move on the day.
- Early scan: a looser version of the same scan, meant to flag candidates earlier in the move.
Logging starts with the scanners' first scheduled runs; results are added after each US close.
How the columns work: Date is when the scan flagged the stock, in UK time. Trigger price is the price shown in the scan result, where it gave one. Day high and close are that day’s regular-session high and close from public market data. Max move % is the highest price reached after the scan that day (including extended hours where data exists) compared with the trigger price, or with the day’s open if no trigger price was recorded. Blank cells mean the data wasn’t available; we never estimate. Data can contain errors.
