Privacy notice
This notice explains how GapperDesk uses personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese Law 58/2019.
Who we are
The data controller is the operator of GapperDesk, based in Portugal. Contact: hello@gapperdesk.com.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address and your consent (the tickbox), with the date and time of sign-up.
- Technical data: our host may process your IP address and browser information in server logs to deliver the site and prevent abuse, and the form provider applies automatic spam filtering.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and uses no third-party trackers.
Why and on what legal basis
- To send you GapperDesk education emails and launch updates: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
- To run, secure and protect the site against spam and abuse: our legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)).

We will update this list before adding any other provider, such as an email-sending service. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
International transfers
Netlify is based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or for 24 months after the last email we send you if the waitlist is not used, whichever is sooner. Server logs are kept by our host for its standard short retention period.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Email hello@gapperdesk.com and we will reply within one month. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt, or to the authority where you live.
Children
GapperDesk is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We will post any changes here with a new date.
